1. Who we are

Producer Credentials is operated by the company doing business as Producer Credentials. References to "we", "us", and "our" in this policy refer to that operating entity. References to "you" refer to anyone who visits the platform, whether as a licensed agent who has signed up for a verification page or as a consumer who is verifying an agent.

2. Information we collect from consumers

Visiting an agent verification page does not require an account, an email address, or any identifying information. The platform is anonymous and read-only for consumers.

We collect the following limited information automatically when you visit a verification page:

• Standard server log data, including IP address, browser type, referring URL, and timestamp
• Aggregate, non-identifying analytics about which pages are viewed and how often

3. Information we collect from agents

When a licensed agent signs up for a verification page, we collect the information necessary to operate the page. This includes:

• Legal name and National Producer Number (NPN)
• Phone number and email address displayed on the public page
• A short bio and the list of insurance products you sell
• A professional photograph
• Licensed states and license documents you upload
• Payment information processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers

4. How we use information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To display verification information to consumers on the agent's public page
• To verify license status with the National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR)
• To bill agents and process subscription payments
• To send agents account-related emails, including magic-link sign-in messages
• To improve the platform and diagnose technical issues

5. Information we do not collect

We do not collect Social Security numbers, dates of birth, financial account numbers, or health information from consumers visiting the platform. We do not require consumers to create an account, provide an email address, or accept marketing communications.

We do not sell consumer information to third parties. We do not run advertising or behavioral retargeting on agent verification pages.

6. Sharing of information

Agent information shown on a verification page is, by design, public. Beyond that, we share information only with the following categories of service providers, and only as needed to operate the platform:

• Our payment processor, to handle billing and subscriptions
• Our email service provider, to deliver account-related emails
• Our hosting and infrastructure providers
• Government agencies or law enforcement, when required by valid legal process

7. Data retention

We retain agent account data for as long as your subscription is active. If you cancel, we retain the data for up to 30 days to allow reactivation, after which it is deleted or de-identified. Server logs are retained for 90 days.

8. Your choices

Agents can edit, update, or delete most of the information on their verification page at any time by signing in via the magic-link email we send. To delete your account entirely, cancel your subscription from the dashboard or contact us.

Consumers can browse the site without an account. There is no consumer data to delete, because we do not collect any.

9. Children

The platform is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. Material changes will be announced to agents via the email on file.
